Suttree. Cormac McCarthy.

London: Chatto and Windus, 1980. First Edition. Hardcover. Good in a Very Good jacket, unclipped (£6.95), generally rubbed at the surface and edges, creased at the spine with a rectangular shadow at the foot, a small circular moisture stain at the back panel. Quarter black cloth with yellow paper on the boards, rubbed at the bottom edge. Bound with some reading wear and a forward lean, stamped "Public Librairies Division" on the bottom edge--the only library marking on the pages--foxed at the top edge, clean internally. McCarthy's fourth novel, a lengthy account of Cornelius Suttree's life in Knoxville, Tennessee in the early 1950s. The U.K. edition is nearly identical to the American first edition except for the Chatto and Windus title page and the jacket, which is incredibly scarce in any condition. Good / Very Good.
