Green buckra, foxed and toned at the spine and front joint, with green lettering on the spine and front board. Square and firmly bound with a green top stain, former owner's bookplate inside the front board, clean otherwise. Green's "society novel in reverse" which focuses on "the lives and loves of the servants' hall in a rich woman's castle in Ireland at the beginning of the war." Very Good / Very Good. Item #4813
