Orange paper on the boards, generally rubbed, split along the top two inches of the front and back gutter. Square, hinges a bit loose but the binding is generally tight, toned at the endpapers, rubbed in a spot at the rear, clean otherwise. A pocket-sized collection of Williams's poetry intdended to be carried by US servicemen during World War II, a collection edited with the help of Louis Zukofsky and a predecessor of Paterson. Good.
