Good in a Fair dust jacket, unclipped ($2.50), front flap present but detached, generally soiled, chipped at the edges, with a chip affecting the text toward the bottom edge of the back panel. Grey cloth, faintly bumped at the edges, with brown ink lettering and designs on the spine and front board. Bound with some reading wear and a forward lean, red topstain, former owner's signature on the front endpaper, clean otherwise. Burns's contemporaneous history of Chicago gangs and their activities, including writing about John Torrio, Dean O'Bannion, Al Capone, the St. Valentine's Day Massacre, and other notable people and events.
