Lippincott Company fifty-third printing: Near Fine in a Very Good dust jacket, unclipped ($2.95), unevenly toned, a couple short closed tears. Red cloth with black ink lettering and designs, pictorial pastedown on the front board. Square and firmly bound, bookplate laid-in at the front, clean otherwise; with another edition of the same title, William Morrow Books of Wonder first printing, illustrated by Michael Hague: Very Good in a Near Fine dust jacket, clipped, minor wear at the edges, some staining on the verso. Blue cloth, a few spots of fading from moisture, gilt lettering and designs. Square and firmly bound, gift inscription on the half-title, Eggar's bookplate laid-in at the front. Eggar starred as Emma Fairfax in the 1967 film Doctor Dolittle. Very Good / Very Good. Item #17049
